Meet Our Founder
Neuro Sciences Foundation is helmed by Professor Dr. Shakil Jehangir Malik. Driven by an early fascination with the myriad mysteries of the brain and a deep commitment to human dignity, Dr Malik established NSF Pakistan when psychiatric care in Pakistan was marred by stigma and inhumane practices.
With 43 years of clinical and academic experience and postgraduate qualifications from Pakistan, the UK, Ireland, and Canada, Dr. Malik has dedicated his life to advocating for and transforming mental health services.
Dr. Malik's passion for neuro psychiatry and community development has redefined care for underserved individual patients and has also uplifted entire communities through sustainable, people centered initiatives.
